Poltu Quatu Classic ritorna sulla scena dei grandi eventi internazionali con la quinta edizione del Concorso d’Eleganza più glamour dell’estate organizzato da Auto Classic e Between comunicazione in collaborazione con il Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu e Bcool City Magazine
Il 10, 11 e 12 luglio sfileranno per le strade della Costa Smeralda autentici gioielli a quattro ruote provenienti dalle più importanti collezioni di auto d’epoca italiane ed europee.
La Giuria del Concorso sarà presieduta per il terzo anno consecutivo da Paolo Tumminelli, il noto storico dell’automobile che ha creato e affinato in questi anni un sistema di valutazione pressochè infallibile. Con lui ci saranno il noto designer Fabrizio Giugiaro che disegnerà e realizzerà come ormai tradizione il trofeo “Best in Show” che sarà assegnato all’auto vincitrice del Concorso, Dominik Fischlin del Comitato del Concorso d’Eleganza di Villa d’Este e rappresentante FIVA, Luciano Bertolero fondatore di Auto Classic e grande esperto Ferrari, Afshin Behnia CEO di Petrolicious, Alberto Vassallo CEO di Car and Vintage e J. Philip Rathgen CEO di Classic Driver, i tre social media più conosciuti nel mondo dell’Automotive.
La grande Giuria internzionale dell’edizione 2020 di Poltu Quatu Classic sarà completata da altri personaggi di spicco del motorismo storico come David Giudici direttore di Ruoteclassiche, Alberto Scuro presidente dell’ASI, Enrico Renaldini co-founder di Gare d’Epoca, Shinichi Ekko giornalista e presidente del Maserati Club Japan, Augustin Sebatié-Garat direttore di RM Sotheby’s Europe e Ted Gushue fotografo di grande fama internazionale e direttore editoriale del nuovo magazine ufficiale Porsche Type 7.
Le novità inserite nel programma di quest’anno riguardano soprattutto la giornata di sabato che inizierà la mattina con un lungo tour panoramico della Costa Smeralda attraverso un percorso studiato ad hoc dagli organizzatori per regalare ai partecipanti scenari indimenticabili da ammirare al volante delle proprie automobili.
Il resto della giornata sarà vissuto in totale relax nella famosa spiaggia di Capriccioli resa celebre dal film “007 - La spia che mi amava” dove il protagonista Roger Moore emerge con la sua auto dall’acqua cristallina della Costa Smeralda in compagnia di Barbara Bach e dove i protagonisti di Poltu Quatu Classic 2020 saranno ospiti del Vesper Beach Club.
Non mancherà sulla via del ritorno a Poltu Quatu il passaggio e l’esposizione delle auto del Concorso a Porto Cervo all’ora dell’aperitivo.
I partecipanti vivranno quindi un’altra bellissima esperienza tra visite a borghi storici della Sardegna e giornate in spiaggia, guidando le loro auto d’epoca lungo gli scenari mozzafiato della Costa Smeralda e i più temerari potranno provare l’ebbrezza dell’alta velocità in mare grazie alla “Off Shore Experience” inserita anche nel programma di quest’anno dagli organizzatori dell’evento.
La GFG Style di Giorgetto e Fabrizio Giugiaro porterà in Sardegna in anteprima mondiale i due prototipi che avrebbero dovuto essere presentati al Salone di Ginevra, poi cancellato, stiamo parlando della futuristica GFG VISION 2030 e della Bandini Dora la barchetta 100% elettrica che rilancia il celebre marchio italiano fondato nel 1946 da Ilario Bandini.
Confermato lo svolgimento in notturna della sfilata finale delle automobili davanti alla Giuria che avverrà Sabato 11 luglio dopo la Cena di Gala al Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu nella celebre Piazzetta illuminata a giorno per l’occasione.
Gli organizzatori renderanno noti nei prossimi giorni i nomi delle classi del Concorso, mentre si conoscono già i premi per il vincitore che riceverà insieme al trofeo “Best in Show” un prezioso orologio Eberhard e  un pregiato telo Goodwool realizzato a immagine e somiglianza della sua automobile.
La Maison di alta gioielleria Sabbadini premierà con uno dei suoi celebri gioielli a forma di Ape la donna più elegante del Concorso.
Come tradizione Simone Bertolero presenterà l’evento a bordo della mitica Fiat 500 Spiaggina, l’auto preferita per il periodo estivo dai protagonisti del Jet Set internazionale tra cui vogliamo ricordare l’Avvocato Agnelli e Aristotele Onassis. Ad affiancarlo anche in questa edizione del Concorso ci sarà la giornalista Savina Confaloni, uno dei volti più apprezzati e conosciuti del mondo dell’auto.
L’ultima edizione del Concorso d’Eleganza Poltu Quatu Classic ha visto trionfare il marchio Ferrari dopo le vittorie nelle edizioni precedenti firmate Alfa Romeo e Bugatti, non ci resta che attendere il 12 luglio per sapere quale sarà l’automobile più elegante dell’estate 2020!



Poltu Quatu Classic returns to the scene of major international events with the fifth edition of the most glamorous Concours d’Elegance of the summer organized by Auto Classic and Between Communication in collaboration with the Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu and Bcool City Magazine
On July 10th, 11th and 12th, authentic four-wheeled jewels from the most important Italian and European collections of vintage cars will parade through the streets of the Costa Smeralda.
The Jury of the Competition will be chaired for the third year in a row by Paolo Tumminelli, the well-known automotive historian who has created and refined in recent years an almost infallible evaluation system. With him will be the well-known designer Fabrizio Giugiaro who will realize as a tradition the trophy "Best in Show" that will be awarded to the winning car of the Concorso d’Eleganza Poltu Quatu Classic 2020, Dominik Fischlin member of the Selecting Committee of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este and representative of FIVA (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens), Luciano Bertolero founder of Auto Classic and great expert Ferrari, Afshin Behnia CEO of Petrolicious, Alberto Vassallo CEO of Car and Vintage and     J. Philip Rathgen CEO of Classic Driver, the three best-known social media in the automotive world.
The grand jury of the 2020 edition of Poltu Quatu Classic will be completed by other leading figures of the automotive world such as David Giudici director of Ruoteclassiche, Alberto Scuro president of ASI (Italian Historic Cars Association), Enrico Renaldini co-founder of Gare d'Epoca (the main Italian website dedicated to classic cars events), Shinichi Ekko journalist and president of Maserati Club Japan, Augustin Sebatié-Garat director of RM Sotheby's Europe and Ted Gushue internationally renowned photographer and editorial director of the new official magazine Porsche Type 7.
The innovations included in this year's program are mainly about the day on Saturday that will start in the morning with a long scenic tour of the Costa Smeralda through a route designed ad hoc by the organizers to give the participants unforgettable scenarios to admire behind the wheel of their cars.
The rest of the day will be lived in total relaxation in the famous Vesper Beach of Capriccioli made famous by the movie "007 - The Spy Who Loved Me" where the protagonist Roger Moore emerges with his car from the crystal clear water of the Costa Smeralda in the company of Barbara Bach and where the protagonists of Poltu Quatu Classic 2020 will be guests of the Vesper Beach Club.
There will be no shortage on the way back to Poltu Quatu the passage and exhibition of the cars of the Concorso in Porto Cervo at the time of the aperitif.
The participants will live another beautiful experience between visits to historic villages of Sardinia and days at the beach, driving their vintage cars along the breathtaking scenery of the Costa Smeralda and the daredevils will be able to experience the thrill of high speed at sea thanks to the "Off Shore Experience", also included in this year's program by the organizers of the event, in company with the 5 times Motorboating World Champion Aaron Chantar.
The GFG Style of Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro will bring to Sardinia as world premiere the two prototypes that were to be presented at the Geneva Motor Show, then canceled, we are talking about the futuristic GFG VISION 2030 and the Bandini Dora the 100% electric “Barchetta” that relaunches the famous Italian brand founded in 1946 by Ilario Bandini.
Confirmed the performance at night of the final parade of cars in front of the Jury that will take place Saturday, July 11 after the Gala Dinner at the Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu in the famous Piazzetta illuminated by day for the occasion.
The organizers of the event will announce in the coming days the names of the classes of the Competition, while the prizes for the winner are already known: together with the "Best in Show" Trophy thewinner of the Concorso d’Eleganza Poltu Quatu Classic 2020 will be awarded with a precious Eberhard watch and a precious Goodwool car cover made in the image and likeness of his car.
The high-jewerly Maison Sabbadini will reward  the most elegant woman in the Concorso with one of its famous jewels in the shape of Bee
As a tradition Simone Bertolero will present the event aboard the legendary Fiat 500 Spiaggina, the favorite car for the summer period by the protagonists of the international Jet Set including Gianni Agnelli and Aristotle Onassis.  Also joining him in this edition of the Concorso will be the journalist Savina Confaloni, one of the most appreciated and well-known faces of the automotive world.
The last edition of the Concorso d'Eleganza Poltu Quatu Classic saw the Ferrari brand triumph after the victories in previous editions signed Alfa Romeo and Bugatti. We just have to wait until July 12th to know what will be the most elegant car of summer 2020!
