Welcome to the Royal Automobile Club's annual Veteran Car Run - the world's longest running and greatest motoring celebration. The annual November event attracts entrants from all over the globe and for the owners of these highly valuable veteran cars it represents a rare opportunity to take their extraordinary automobiles on the historic 60-mile run from Hyde Park in central London to the seafront on the Sussex resort of Brighton.

Few events in today's international calendar like the Veteran Car Run can claim such individuality, personality and character as around 500 fine examples of eligible pre 1905 manufacture demonstrate their early engineering ability.

Royalty and personalities from the world of television, stage, music and sport often participate on the annual run which takes place on the first Sunday in each November and this website aims to provide detailed background and current event information for both spectators and participants alike.

As a spectator, participant, media or event partner there are many ways to enjoy this annual motoring celebration and this website aims to provide all the information as required. The various links on this page provide access to a number of options and opportunities from open-top double-decker bus tours that follow the Sunday route to Brighton and official event souvenirs all available online to pre-order and enjoy in November.

Website visitors will be pleased to note that spectating is absolutely FREE of charge. The Saturday Concours in Regent Street is open to all and the Sunday route takes in the suburbs of London via Brixton, Lambeth and Streatham on the A23 and on through Norbury to Croydon and then the A235 to Purley reverting to the A23 to Redhill, Horley, Gatwick and Crawley plus the towns and villages on the B-roads route to Brighton via Cuckfield, Burgess Hill and Clayton Hill
