We can find no better place to start the Rallye than Switzerland. The red-and-white beating heart of Europe has about 30% of its territory in the Alps, which have been part of the nation’s history and development since the beginning. It is no secret among car enthusiasts that the greatest mountain passes are located either in Switzerland or close to its borders. In that spirit, the 2018 edition of the Rallye des Alpes will begin from the heart of the country, on the shores of Lake Lucerne.
